The Continuity of Ancient Spirits pt. 1

The above image shows the famous “Venus of Willendorf” image; next to a page from Jacques Vallée’s “Passport to Magonia.” The resemblance is striking.

Ancient forgotten gods hide among us. Some in plain sight, others are more obscure. Isaiah spoke of the satyr, and people speak of goatmen haunting various bridges and byways across the country. The Bishop of Coventry in 1303 was accused of worshiping the devil in the form of a sheep before Sheepsquatch appeared in Appalachia. People report sightings of Batsquatch, but no one remembers poor Camazotz…..

People get abducted by little strange men; but who even bothers leaving out milk and bread for them anymore? Snawfus flies around the Ozark mountains but before the first hillbilly was here to see him, he appeared in the grimoires as Furfur…..

Furfur from Colin De Plancy’s Dictionnaire Infernal

“Furfur causes love between a man and a woman, creates storms, tempests, thunder, lightning, and blasts, and teaches on secret and divine things.”

People I see will travel long distances, even going to other countries, to find gods to pray to. The God of Doorways….is at your front door; the dead still dwell in the cemetery of your bathroom. Every soul that ever found it’s rest in the ocean……rains down on your head, and fills the water bottles you drink. You don’t have to travel the world to find a god, the spirits are there, right in front of you.

Matthew 11:15 - “He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”
